Our Open Enrolments in Dutch and English started again 10th January with 825 students. We are very proud and happy that so many students found their way to STE Languages! These courses allow you to attend language training in group sizes of a maximum of 10 students, either online or face-to-face and aim to increase the Dutch and English language levels of participants.

Recent research by the University of Groningen shows that learning a foreign language can delay the onset of dementia and Alzheimer's and prevent or reduce feelings of depression later in life. Researchers at the University have experienced many positive effects of language training on the brain and see it as an effective strategy for healthy aging.

STE Languages has won the Eindhoven Business AWARD 2023 Company hosted by Evoluon. A big thank you to our dedicated team of staff and language trainers, loyal clients and motivated students. And our heartfelt appreciation for Pion Steeg and his magazine Eindhoven Business for this great evening. But Alina Totti has now found her place - and her calling. As a policy advisor for the Province of North Brabant, she is committed to improving the position of migrant workers and other internationals. And there is still a world to be won.

Over the past few days, we have again been immersed in the special world of Carnival. One of the most colourful and biggest folk festivals in the Netherlands broke out. Also in Eindhoven, which is called “Lampegat” during the carnival period and where you regularly encounter the term “SALAAI”. “SALAAI” means the same as “ALAAF” and is a reference to the “11th Commandment - Enjoy”. Wearing a striking costume (called “pekske” in Brabant) is one of the freedoms of Carnival.

STE Languages is joining hands with the Indian Center in the Netherlands. STE Languages will be present at “Discover India in Eindhoven 2024" on 22nd June, 11.00-19.00 hrs.
